February was back to school at Cultura Inglesa BH and the academic semester started with a bang! In addition to the resumption of Live Online classes, we were also able to resume our In-Person classes, satisfying our longing to meet our dear students in person. It is worth remembering that this in-person return is taking place in accordance with all health protocols, with emphasis on the correct use of masks by students and teachers, the availability of alcohol gel to disinfect everyone's hands and also the hygiene of all classrooms before each class. Now let's see how our month of February went and what is already prepared for the month of March! HIGH SCHOOL CHAT On February 22nd, we promoted a chat about High School Cultura Inglesa, with the participation of EducationUSA advisor, Júlia Peres, who spoke about obtaining scholarships in the United States, and our former student from High School, Bernardo Guimarães, who spoke about his personal experience.
Participants were able to clarify all their doubts about this special program, which allows students to obtain a North American high school diploma and which is carried out in partnership with Griggs International Academy – GIA. SEAL OF GOOD Our partnership with the Lacre do Bem campaign was renewed and all 14 Cultura Inglesa BH units in Belo Horizonte continue as collection points for can seals. The Seal for Good campaign works like this: for every 140 2-liter PET bottles filled with seals, a wheelchair is donated! Therefore, every Phone Number List contribution counts! Gather your seals and leave them at the unit closest to you! Discover our addresses at .culturainglesamg. Find out more about the Lacre do Bem campaign at. CAMBRIDGE EXAMS Registration is now open for the Cambridge Exams at Cultura Inglesa BH! The good news is that those who register by March 26th will be able to obtain this internationally recognized proficiency certification with differentiated value.
The Cambridge Exams have tests aimed at children, teenagers and adults, for academic, professional and even immigration purposes. Talk to us to find out more and certify your English! CAMBRIDGE CHAT Everything you want and need to know about the Cambridge Exams we will clarify in a virtual chat on April 2nd, at 2pm! The meeting will be attended by Cambridge Brazil's business development manager, Roberta Lima, who will help you with valuable information about the tests. Roberta Lima has been business development manager at Cambridge University Press and Assessment for over 8 years and graduated from Universidade Federal Fluminense. She has been in the Education market since 2002, working as an English teacher and academic manager of a language school and then working as an educational consultant at an international publisher of English books, presenting workshops and offering training for English.
